Every breastfeeding family deserves clinical-grade support.
Milk & Moon exists because the gap between hospital discharge and the support families actually need is unconscionably wide. We're closing it.

Meet Brandi O'Neal
Brandi is an internationally board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), registered nurse (RN, BSN), and mother of three. For the last seven years, she's worked exclusively in the lactation field — supporting families through their feeding journeys.
She's seen the same story hundreds of times: an exhausted new parent, overwhelmed by conflicting advice from the internet, unsure if what they're experiencing is normal. She created Milk & Moon to be the calm, evidence-based presence that should exist for every family.
The support cliff
84%

36%

3.6M

730
days of recommended support
Breastfeeding isn't a topic you browse. It's a journey with a timeline. Day 3 looks nothing like Day 90, which looks nothing like Day 400. The anxiety at 2 AM on night four is a completely different animal from the anxiety of pumping in a supply closet at work on month four.
Every competitor treats breastfeeding support as a library — here are some courses, here are some articles, go find what you need. But a parent at 3 AM with a baby who won't latch doesn't need a library.
They need a system that knows exactly where they are in their 730-day journey and meets them there — every single day — with the right guidance at the right moment.
What makes Milk & Moon different
These aren't features. They're the interconnected architecture that makes everything else work.
Phase-Aware Content
Content delivered contextually — matched to your baby's exact age, your logged patterns, and your phase. Not a library you browse. A system that finds you at the moment you need it.
Caregiver Network
Role-based access for the entire care team. Partners get a simplified, actionable view. Grandparents get evidence-based information about modern practices. Providers get export-ready feeding logs.
Cohort-Based Community
Phase-organized groups where you're talking to parents at the same stage. Not a Facebook group that dumps a mom at Day 3 into the same feed as a mom at Month 9.
Clinical Escalation Intelligence
The system knows when education is enough and when to escalate. Green for normal patterns. Yellow for emerging concerns. Red for urgent indicators. Clinical judgment encoded into a system that never sleeps.
The Data Flywheel
Every journey makes the system smarter. After thousands of journeys, the platform knows patterns no individual clinician could identify alone. The moat widens every day.
Where we're going
The founder creates the clinical expertise once. The platform delivers it infinitely — personalized to each parent's exact day and logged patterns. 730 days of daily guidance. Contextual education surfaced at the right moment. Automated clinical triage across the entire user base, 24/7. Self-organizing community cohorts that scale without moderation burden.
One IBCLC's knowledge, delivered to every family that needs it, each one feeling like the platform is speaking directly to them.
That's not a course business. That's clinical infrastructure.
